School Meals
Primary School Lunches
At Holley Park we believe that a healthy, balanced lunch is essential for supporting children’s learning, energy, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
What’s on the Menu?
Our school lunches are freshly prepared and offer a variety of nutritious options, including:
- Hot meals with vegetarian choices
- Fresh fruit and vegetables daily
- A selection of desserts, including yogurt and fruit
- Special themed menus throughout the year (e.g. Christmas lunch, cultural celebration days)
- Kids’ Choice Kitchen – special end of term lunches as voted for by pupils
A three-week rolling menu is in operation (link below) which includes all the delicious options on offer as well as allergen information.
Cost and Payment
School lunches are available at a cost of £2.60 per day. Lunches are booked weekly in advance by office staff, with payment made via School Comms app.
Children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. Families eligible for Free School Meals in other year groups can apply through the local authority.
Applying for free school meals is straightforward. You can check your eligibility and apply online through the local authority website - Free School Meals - Together for Children
If you are unsure if you are eligible, please contact Together for Children on 0191 5611417 or freeschoolmeals@togetherforchildren.org.uk and one of the team will try to help you.
