As part of our Phonics we enjoyed going for a 'listening walk' around the school, identifying different sounds we could hear in our environment.

We also enjoyed being introduced to 'syllables' in Phonics. We danced along to the 'clap it out' song and practiced clapping out the syllables in different words. 

This week in Maths we began using 'tens frames'. We practiced counting items by placing them on the tens frame and saying how many items there were altogether.
