Trip to Crook Hall and Gardens: Pirates and Princesses

As part of our topic Pirates and Princesses EYFS will be visiting Crook Hall and Gardens in Durham on Tuesday 10th March 2020.

We will be leaving school at 9.30am and will return at approximately 1.00pm. Children can wear sensible fancy dress clothes and shoes but will also need to wear weather appropriate clothing such as legging under dresses and a coat as we will be outside at Crook Hall Gardens.

We will be leaving school after registration at around 9:30 am and return at approximately 1:00 pm.  Morning Nursery children should be ready to be collected at 1:00pm from EYFS red door.

Nursery children that are staying for the afternoon session will require a packed lunch from home and Reception children will be catered for as usual in school.  All children will be provided with a snack during the visit and dietary requirements will be met.

In order to meet the cost of the trip, a voluntary contribution is required of £11.00.  Friday 6th March.  The cost includes meeting a pirate and a princess character, reading stories, arts and crafts, a treasure hunt around the garden and some small games.

Please reserve your child’s place and give consent using School Comms Online System. This is our preferred method. If you require assistance accessing School Comms, please see the office staff and they will be happy to help. We can, alternatively, accept the consent slip below along with cash or cheque as your contribution and return it to school in a named, sealed envelope. If insufficient funds are collected, the trip may have to be cancelled. Please do this no later than Friday 6th March.

Please indicate on the slip below if you would be able to attend the trip as a parent helper on that date. We will inform any parent/carer if their help is needed.
