Dear Parents/Carers,

This week, as the number of positive Coronavirus cases has risen in the North East the Government have decided to impose some restrictions. The Government guidelines are recommending that we remain in our household ‘bubbles’. Please ensure only one adult drops off and collects your child and that you maintain social distancing and hygiene measures at all times whilst on site. We have no staff or pupil reported cases of Coronavirus.
Good attendance this week across the whole school at 96.2% Let’s keep it up!
Thank you all for supporting the charity Jeans for Genes, we will update you later with how much we have raised.
Could we kindly ask you to return to school reading books that were sent home at the beginning of lockdown in March. Also, if you have any children’s reading books in good, used condition we can accept donations to our school library. Could you please send these into school next Friday with your children to allow us to ‘quarantine’ them over the weekend.
A reminder that we are operating all of our extended school activities. Breakfast Club is daily from 8.00am and Afterschool Club every night. Please do not try to collect your child any earlier than 4.15pm which is the end of the first session. The pupils will be taking part in the activity until then. Please book your child into the club via schoolcomms where your payment is made.
Dinner money is due by Monday morning. £11.00 per week for a delicious 2 course-meal, freshly prepared every day on site by our chef, Mr. Brown.
Flu-Nasal vaccination letters have been sent home with pupils from Reception Class to Year 6 this week. This is scheduled to take place Tuesday 17th November in school. Please ensure you return the consent letter back to school for our school nurse to collect Monday 21st September.
Next Friday 25th September, pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 will be taking part in a Pirate and Princess Day. Please send your children dressed in their outfits ready to enjoy a fun filled day. (no swords, wands or eyepatches please)
As our school remains closed to visitors, please direct any queries to the school email address listed opposite in important contacts.

Thank you,

Ms Wood
Operations Manager
